At the end of the 19th century, the German physician Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler discovered 12 essential mineral salts for the treatment of various ailments. He identified twelve biochemic minerals present in every tissue or cell of the human body which are important for mineral metabolism in cells.
A correct balance of these minerals must be maintained for the proper functioning of body tissues.
Dr. Schuessler believed that a deficiency in any one mineral would lead to a disturbance in the cell life where the deficiency occurred. When there is a perturbation of cell life, a favorable environment for bacterial growth and human illness is created.
Health problems arise when there is a deficiency in any of these salts.
How Biochemic Tissue Salts has been Prepared?
Dr. Schuessler’s biochemic salts are also known as tissue salts or cell salts. Tissue salts are prepared according to homeopathic principles and are used to supply the body with the missing cell nutrients. Tissue salts are used in tablet form where lactose (milk sugar) is the main ingredient.
